I am writing to you today regarding and excellent opportunity that the Design Build Institute of America – St. Louis chapter is offering.

All of the required continuing education courses for attaining the Designated DBIA Professional certification will be offered in the St. Louis area over the next seven months. The first course “Fundamentals of Project Delivery” will be offered March 6, 2009.

We've had a successful year of breakfast seminars and education events. Please help us celebrate our first birthday at Blueberry Hill. The St. Louis chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) is celebrating its first year as a viable organization in the design and construction industry. The DBIA exists to educate companies and individuals delivering the design-build process and to facilitate networking between general contractors and business owners looking for design-build partnerships. As always we are looking for volunteers to help fill out the steering committee as well as volunteers to help with fundraising , breakfast programs, email communications and membership. We have a full year planned for 2009, including being able to offer ALL the required education classes and exams for DBIA Certification.

Looking towards the new year

Our education event brought together a lot of people and some positive connections were made. We hope everyone has a great and safe time over the holidays. We will send out, soon, our save - a - date announcements for our January birthday party. Our chapter renaissance began one year ago and we are ready to celebrate! We are almost done planning a great round of breakfast programs and other events for 2009 so stay tuned!
